The day started with Claire and her bridesmaids getting ready together. Laughing and swapping lip colors, they rocked the cutest monogrammed shirts. When the guys arrived, Jeffrey was carrying a single sunflower which he brought as a surprise for Claire. Before the ceremony, Claire and Jeffrey shared a special moment alone where Jeffrey couldn’t see Claire, but they got to pray together before their ceremony.
The ceremony was a beautiful testament to their desire to build a marriage and not just a wedding. Claire’s brother and sister-in-law lead worship, and, soon, Mr. and Mrs. Dietz shared their first kiss. After family formals and wedding party photos, we headed out for couple’s portraits. It was such a blast to photograph the two of them together since they were all smiles and giggles.
When they entered the reception, they signed their marriage license with their families surrounding them which was one of my favorite touches from their day. The toasts had everyone laughing, and, during the first dance, the ring bearer made an appearance on the dance floor while the flower girl tried to corral him. That was pure cuteness.
For the exit, they had the cutest wands which eliminated the whole sparks flying off the sparkler fear effect. With huge smiles on their faces, they ran through the fabric streamers and soon the last shouts had faded away. Just like that, the sweetest wedding day was over with a new Mr. and Mrs. Dietz.
Claire and Jeffrey, it was such an honor and a joy to serve you on your wedding day!
