“It’s been a long time coming,” was the beginning of the toasts, ceremony, and conversations at this McKinney outdoor wedding.
I am sure Gabby and Hayden agreed after being together since high school and engaged for two years. They met at church, did long distance through college, and got engaged on a cold rainy day in January. When their wedding day came, family and friends were there to celebrate the long awaited day with them at their beautiful McKinney outdoor wedding.
The 40% chance of rain threatened to move it inside, but it held off. As the ring bearer started to walk down the aisle, a huge rainbow broke out in the sky. Later on, when everyone was inside for the reception, the skies broke open, but the rain stopped just long enough for Gabby and Hayden to have a killer bubble exit to end the day. As I was walking to the car after packing up, it started to rain again.
The day was full of personalized touches that made the day extra special. Gabby’s mom surprised her by decking out the whole wedding venue in McKinney to the nines, Hayden created a sweet scrapbook to reveal their honeymoon location, Gabby gave Hayden a customized belt, and Hayden gave his groomsmen socks. The most special touch of all, though, was when Gabby’s cousins broke out in a surprise dance to the Hannah Montana classic “The Hoedown Throwdown.”
Gabby and Hayden, it was such an honor to photograph your day!
